Amy Yee Tennis Center in Seattle has 6 outdoor courts (along with 10 indoor), all available for public use and reservations. The outdoor courts are well-maintained, affordable, and great for players of any level looking for a casual match or organized play. Itβs a popular spot with a friendly tennis community and a convenient location, making it one of the best options for outdoor tennis in the city in my opinion

I am a transplant. Before transplanting, I visited to find out how things work. I transplanted to their backyard and needless to say I am beyond disappointed with everything. From schedule to classes to the actual online system to exactly what transpired last week and today. They allow you sign up for classes without explicitly stating that it means you will be on a waitlist and waiting for someone to call you and if you do not call and ask for your refund, you will not get it. This was my experience. The rating system is terrible. Get asked a bunch of questions and after answering them, still get a call from someone that still seems confused. Get assigned a rating but all the saved programs in the wish list are all of a different rating gotten when I walked in multiple times prior. Finger on the mouse 5 mins before noon because of this rush to book to find out that cannot book anything because the rating is a predetermining factor. was never told this before. asked to save my credit card on file, saved in in person and log in to not be able to find it anywhere. truly disappointing. not sure what i could have done differently.

Update: Court times are now 70 minutes instead of 75. During the βpilotβ, some of us reached out to express feedback but never heard back. No idea why they want the courts to be dark and empty court for 5 minutes since they never explained (the front desk folks who are always very kind just deferred questions to the email address on the posted notice, which is who we contacted). No other facility in the region does this (public or private), so itβs very odd. Challenging to get an evening court or sign up for group lessons. The scheduling process is highly biased considering itβs a public facility. Itβs first come first serve via phone at 9:10am, which can be challenging for people working during typical biz hours. Folks seem to have automated call schedulers since the same people get multiple courts a week while others are out of luck. Prioritization of access is not given to seattle residents. All that said, the staff/coaches are usually quite kind and the facility is nice thanks to all the recent work they did on it.

The team iFly is awesome and a flight instructor Tyler was absolutely fabulous. Tyler seemed to genuinely enjoy what he does, smiling thought each flight. Thank you for making it so much fun for David and Serena, they had a blast. IFly is a well coriagraphed event.

Really nice tennis courts both inside and out. The indoor courts can be reserved for a fee. The outdoor courts can also be reserved but are otherwise first come first serve. The staff and coaches are always helpful willing to answer any questions.
